This year, in addition to its traditional and updated Global Film & TV Program in Los Angeles, the Latin American Training Center announces a new International Representation Office at the American Film Market-AFM, the world’s most prestigious audiovisual market.  The LATC Representation Office will offer huge international visibility for films, documentaries, TV series and projects in development seeking sales, licensing, distribution and coproduction at the AFM, which runs October 31 – November 7 in Los Angeles.

The new LATC Representation Office offers options for both professionals who will participate in the AFM, and those unable to do so, but who would like to have their film or project visible to potential buyers, distributors, sales agents and investors. In addition, thanks to a partnership with the prestigious American law firm Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard LLP-CDAS, additional legal services will be available to assist with licensing and contracts, as well as offer an initial free initial consultation.

“In response to requests from producers in Brazil and other countries to gain experience with the US industry and to access infrastructure to showcase their projects and films, we have expanded our programs in Los Angeles and created new partnerships this year, which marks the 10th anniversary of our operations in LA, “says Steve Solot, LATC President.

This year, the traditional Global Film & TV Program in Los Angeles, October 30 – November 4, has been updated with new components. In order to meet the needs and objectives of its participants, the program will now offer a structure consisting of 4 modules: “Training”, “Networking”, “AFM Preparation” or “LA & Studio Tour”, and “AFM Business & Market” which maybe accessed individually or together, according to each producer’s professional needs.

Designed to connect filmmakers, media managers, lawyers, teachers, executives, government officials and other stakeholders to key aspects of the US film, television and entertainment industries, the Global Film & TV Program is an intensive four-day program which offers numerous professional networking opportunities.

Space in The Global Film & TV Program is limited and the application period is open until August 31st. Early registrations up to July 15th receive a 7% discount.

For more information, including costs, requirements and the registration form, see LATC Global Film & TV Program.
