A Selection Committee comprised of 5 persons (1 from LATC, 1 from AFC and 3 from CIBA-CILECT schools) will evaluate the submitted treatments according to a rank order system and criteria. The Selection Committee will provide a rank order of up to 3 participants per country. The participant with the highest rank from each country will be considered the winner from that country.

The top-ranked treatment from each country will receive a cash prize of U$1,000 from the Américas Film Conservancy. Besides, the top ranked treatments from each country will be made available to film production companies in Latin America for possible acquisition and development.
