.  A seasoned film and media executive and a longtime resident in Brazil, the former Senior Vice President for Latin America for the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) broadens the CPG scope of activities through his expertise in Latin America. Founder of the Latin American Training Center – LATC (latamtrainingcenter.com), which provides consulting and training for audiovisual content producers and film professionals in Latin America and Spain, Mr. Solot is also President of the Rio de Janeiro Film Commission, which is part of the Secretariat of Culture of the State of Rio.

Mr. Solot received the personal invitation to become part of the Board from the Chairman of Creative Projects Group, William Nix, a film industry executive and attorney, as well as an experienced litigator and ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) practitioner with expertise in the fields of entertainment, media, sports, and intellectual property.

According to Mr, Solot, “The invitation from Will Nix to join the CPG Board will provide many opportunities for pursuit of mutual interests, especially at this time with the rapid growth in the audiovisual sector in Latin America – and Brazil in particular.”

Mr. Nix has served as Co-Chair of Baker Botts LLP’s Entertainment, Media and Sports Practice Group, as VP of Legal and Business Affairs for NBA Properties and as COO of the network of nearly 2,000 employees and representatives of the Motion Picture Association of America’s global Intellectual Property Group.

Creative Projects Group – CPG is a consulting firm in the entertainment, media and sports fields, and serves as a “creative incubator” for the development and production of creative content in both traditional and digital media. Consulting is crafted to address each client´s individual situation and ranges from intellectual property creation, development and protection, digital media development, legacy planning and development vehicles, management and agency contracts, financing, licensing, merchandising and other entertainment, media and sports agreements.
