On June 14th The Location Guide published an interview with LATC President, Steve Solot, in his capacity as Executive Director of the Brazilian Film Commission Network (Rede Brasileira de Film Commissions-REBRAFIC) in which he referred to various Brazilian locations confirmed that the country is already recognized internationally as a preferred filming destination.

First published in 1998, The Location Guide is an annual directory with over 500 pages of essential information for the top 100 countries, states and provinces for filming on location. Each of the 100 editorial sections covers: local equipment and crew levels, equipment entry rules and regulations, location highlights, climate details, financial incentive information and comments from industry figures.  The guide also contains details of over 2,000 government contacts, production service companies and studio facilities.
