Film commissions around the world are constantly evolving and seeking to ensure they are competitive and offer necessary services in order to support local production of audiovisual content, as well as attract national and international productions. To meet this demand, the Latin American Training Center-LATC and the Global Audiovisual Training Center-GATC are pleased to announce the new free Diagnostic and Report Card Service for Film Commissions in Latin America, and in other regions.
Consistent with LATC and GATC policy to support film commissions, the new Free Diagnostic and Report Card offers a useful, user-friendly tool to measure the professional qualifications and efficiency of film commissions in all stages of development to support and meet the demands for professional services required by producers of all formats of audiovisual content. GATC provides services outside the Latin American Region.
The new free service utilizes a straightforward tool in the form of a basic online questionnaire, which will feed replies to LATC/GATC management and generate a “Report Card ” to measure and evaluate the services of each film commission. The Report Card provides a rating from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) based on the replies provided in the questionnaire.
LATC/GATC commercial, strategic and legal consulting services in English, Spanish or Portuguese, in partnership with the Paula Tupinambá Advocacia law firm, may be contracted based on the needs identified in the Report Card, as well as other professional services, upon request.
Upon completing the questionnaire, available here, the following publications may be downloaded at no cost (click on the desired publication):
