The 15th edition of the LATC Global Film & TV Program, held November 3-6, was an enormous success, bringing together 11 professionals from countries around the world. Professionals from China, Lebanon/France, Japan, South Korea, and Zimbabwe/London enjoyed an intense program in the world’s cinema capital with meetings, presentations, networking with major Hollywood studios, and independent producers.
The program featured an exclusive full day of master classes with industry experts. Highlights included the Sony Studio Tour, with an introduction by Sony’s renowned international acquisitions executive, Shebnem Askin, as well master classes by Jamie Shepard of Donaldson Callif Perez Law Firm, Tery Lopez of the Writers Guild of America-WGA and William Nix, CEO/Founder of the Creative Projects group.
The Program also included a session of the traditional LATC Pitch Panel, specifically designed to offer a unique interaction of delegation participants with experts, investors and producers based in L.A., through feedback and valuable tips on their projects, and how to best present them.
Previous editions include participants from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Peru, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam.
This latest edition of the Global Film & TV Program demonstrates its excellence as a unique immersion program in Los Angeles, which combines intensive training and powerful opportunities to connect with outstanding professionals from the global industry.
This year’s program was organized by the Latin American Training Center-LATC with the support of the Motion Picture Association (MPA).
