The Latin American Training Center-LATC is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s edition of its traditional screenplay treatment competition, LATINX, whose theme was “Travel/Trip/Journey”, in its literal and figurative sense.
Category “Brazil”:

2nd place – “Estranho familiar” by Leandro Souza (Salvador/BA)
3rd place – “Conexões e Partidas” by Taís Dassoler (São Paulo/SP)
Category “In Spanish”:
1st place – “3 Años, 9 Meses, 5 Días” by Mercedes Arturo (Buenos Aires/Argentina)
2nd place – “La Estrella de Belén” by Pat Torales (Buenos Aires/Argentina)
3rd place – “Lirios” by Victoria Acevedo (Aguascalientes/Mexico)
LATINX 2024 was organized by the Latin American Training Center-LATC with the support of the Brazilian Forum for the Teaching of Cinema and Audiovisual (Forcine), Final Draft, the screenwriting software, LatAmcinema.com, and Projeto Paradiso.
