As part of its continuing policy to support screenwriting in Latin America, foster artistic creation and encourage novice screenwriters in the highly competitive audiovisual industry, the Latin American Training Center-LATC presents another edition of its traditional annual screenplay treatment competition, LATINX, with the support of the Brazilian Forum for the Teaching of Cinema and Audiovisual Studies (Forcine), Final Draft screenwriting software, and LatAmcinema.com.
This year’s theme is “Relationships”. In addition, LATC seeks to provide visibility to narratives focused on women, LGBTQ, Black, indigenous people, and PwD, increasing inclusion and the space for Latin American diversity in the audiovisual industry.
