The Latin American Training Center-LATC and the Dominican Republic Film Commission (DGCINE) are pleased to announce the new edition of the LATC-DGCINE Audiovisual Professional Skill Update Program for the Dominican Republic, a series of 8 online master classes taught by renowned industry professionals that will take place from October 10 to November 10.
The Program is open to recent graduates and audiovisual professionals from the Dominican Republic who wish to improve their knowledge, become acquainted with other audiovisual industry areas, and receive valuable skills updates to operate in this increasingly competitive and demanding sector.
The objective of the program is to provide technical training for the sector to meet the demand generated by streaming services, in addition to traditional media, such as cinema, television and advertising, contributing to the purpose of turning the Dominican Republic into an important audiovisual hub in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The master classes will be taught in Spanish by renowned industry professionals on important areas of the audiovisual production chain, selected based on the 2023 Human Capital Sector Survey carried out this year by DGCINE.
The Program is free and exclusive for Dominicans and registration is open until October 5. A Certificate of Participation will be provided for those who attend at least 6 classes.
