Scheduled for May 28 in Rio de Janeiro, the event will also provide an understanding of the incentive mechanisms within the spheres of tax, financial and administrative planning. Practical aspects regarding the formatting of projects that aim to use these incentive laws in the conscientious , efficient way resulting in generation of revenue are also on the program.

Panel 1, “Cultural Funding in Brazil – Progress and Challenges”, will be moderated by Andreia Gomes, Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Intellectual Property. Fabio Cesnik, partner of Cesnik, Quintino & Salinas Advogados, Walkíria Barbosa, Executive Director of the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, and entertainment lawyer, Dirceu Pereira de Santa Rosa, will also participate. Panel 2, “Audiovisual Industry and Local Content”, will be moderated by Steve Solot, President of LATC-Latin American Training Center, President of Filme Rio-Rio Film Commission, and also Chairman of the Committee of Entertainment, Sports and Culture. Rodrigo Guimarães, Commercial Manager of RioFilme, Mauro Garcia, Executive Director of ABPITV, and Manoel Rangel, President & General Director of ANCINE, will also join the panel.
