Applications are now open for the Professional Upskilling Program for the Audiovisual Sector of Sao Paulo, a partnership of the Latin American Training Center-LATC, ABC Cursos de Cinema and Spcine that offers a series of seven free training courses led by experienced professionals, in the most demanded roles by our industry. In addition, the program will offer 14 spaces in the LATC English Course for Audiovisual Professionals.
Among the technical courses are Coordination of visual effects, Makeup, Assistant Director, Continuity, Stunt coordination and Work safety supervision. In all, 40 spaces will be available per technical course.
The courses will be in online and/or in-person formats, with a minimum workload of 48 hours. Applications are already open and the selection of participants will be the responsibility of a committee of representatives of ABC Cursos de Cinema, LATC and SPCINE. The free spaces are intended for audiovisual professionals residing in the municipality of São Paulo.
The program was officially launched on October 18, in the São Paulo Cultural Center, with the presence of representatives of partner institutions and it was broadcasted through Spcine’s YouTube channel.
