The Latin American Training Center (LATC) is pleased to announce that, thanks to a new agreement with Festival do Rio and RioMarket, five students from previous editions of the social inclusion project “Fazendo Meu Primeiro Filme” (“Making My First Film”), an initiative of the Rio de Janeiro Commercial Association (ACRJ), will participate in this year’s edition of the RIOMARKET JOVEM program.

The agreement between LATC and RioMarket represents an important milestone, reaffirming the ongoing need to train young people to learn about and prepare for entry into the growing audiovisual production market. This is the main goal shared by LATC and RioMarket: to open doors for the training of young people in vulnerable situations and foster the professional inclusion of new talent in the sector.

At the invitation of RioMarket Jovem, the instructor of the “Fazendo Meu Primeiro Filme” project, Pedro Dannemann, will give a lecture on film directing and will join the program on shooting days to support the students in producing their short films.
